Guardian Tales Hero Tier List (October 2026)

This Guardian Tales hero tier list ranks the heroes that matter on the global server in late 2026, after the Seira release and the version 3.53 balance pass.

We compared three September 2026 rankings. Two of them put about forty heroes in their S band, which tells you very little, so we split that band by release date, by how the role based list rates each hero, and by where they actually get picked.

Collaboration heroes are included where the sources rank them, with a note when they are event only. New players should read the S and A tiers as a wishlist, not a shopping order: a well built older hero still clears most content.

How we rank

The ranking blends general use across Colosseum, Arena, Raid, Tower and story with the role specific view from the newest source. S is reserved for heroes every current list puts at the very top or in its S+ band. A is the wide S band of the general lists, trimmed to heroes that still shine in at least one mode. B holds heroes that general lists still call S but the role based list has moved down. C is the A and B bands of the sources, picks that need a specific team or mode. D is for heroes current lists tell you to keep for story only. Rankings are for the global server; Korea and Japan run a different schedule.

S Tier, the meta

  • Klen: Ranged attacker, bonus damage at full health plus shields
  • Myth Movie Star Eugene: Myth awakening, melee leader with crit boost and attack down
  • Kamael: God of Harvest, healer who deals damage and shreds defense
  • Seira: Herald of Counterattack, July 2026 release, S on every list
  • Alicia: Risen Hero, March 2026 unit, straight into the top band
  • Future Princess: Tank with heals, shields and utility, S in all three sources

A Tier, excellent

  • Erina: Legendary Hero, S+ on one list, PvP tank on the others
  • Beth: Dark Magician, melee burst, still the PvP warrior to beat
  • Gabriel: Archangel, healing with strong offensive support
  • Violet Haruka: Mystic Violet, January 2026 release, holds the S band
  • Illuni: Pure Flame, late 2025 unit, still in the S band
  • Frieren: Collab mage, S on two lists, event only
  • Milim Nava: Collab tyrant, huge damage, weaker in long raids
  • Mayreel: Divine Beast of Harvest, support that never left the lists

B Tier, solid

  • Future Knight: Flexible S pick in general lists, B by role
  • Lilith: Demon Queen, Colosseum staple, weaker in raids
  • Mk.99: Android ranged damage, slipping behind newer S picks
  • Angie: Sword of Heaven, warrior burst, meta since 2024
  • Garam: Nine-tailed Fox, mobile ranged pick, fine but aging
  • Nari: Eight-tailed Fox, ranged amplifier with raid utility
  • Miya: Exorcist, best dedicated healer in the role based list

C Tier, situational

  • Morrian: Overlord of the East, A tier tank, low in role lists
  • Sumire: Kunoichi, A tier, fast but fragile
  • Rosetta: Huntress, A tier ranged, needs a team built around her
  • Rimuru Tempest: Collab support, A tier, event only
  • Tinia: Dancing Archer, defense reduction for raids, B overall
  • Lupina: Ice Witch, A warrior by role, B in general lists

D Tier, skip

  • Craig: Aspiring Warrior, starter tank only
  • Favi: Twin Healer, outclassed by every support above
  • Hekate: Sniper, early game ranged, falls off hard
  • Elvira: Red Hood, C tier on every current list

Who is the best hero in Guardian Tales right now?

Klen and the Myth awakened Movie Star Eugene top the September 2026 lists, with God of Harvest Kamael right behind as the best support. Seira, the July 2026 release, and Alicia joined that band on day one.

Is Future Princess still worth building in 2026?

Yes. She is the one tank every source still rates S, thanks to her healing, shields and the fact that she fits any team. If you have her, you have your frontline sorted.

Why are some S tier heroes from other sites only B here?

Two of our sources list about forty heroes as S, which is not a useful ranking. We kept the newest and most picked heroes in S and A, and placed older S heroes that the role based list has moved down, like Lilith or Mk.99, in B.

Are the collaboration heroes worth pulling?

Frieren and Milim Nava still rank in the S band of the general lists, so if their event returns they are good pulls. Rimuru is A tier and less urgent. None of them can be obtained outside their event windows.
