Anime Reborn Unit Tier List (August 2026)
Last checked August 10, 2026
This Anime Reborn unit tier list ranks the units we would actually spend Rebirths and Gems on, from the meta carries down to the summons you can safely feed to a trait reroll.
We compared three recent rankings and kept the majority view, weighting Story, Infinite and boss content rather than one niche mode.
If you pulled something shiny and want to know whether it carries, check its tier below before you sink upgrades into it.

Sukura How we rank
We ranked units on damage output across Story and Infinite, AoE coverage, range, ability value and how early they come online, then cross checked placements against three recent published tier lists and kept the consensus. Support units are ranked on what they enable, not raw DPS. Trait and evolution rerolls can move a unit half a tier either way, so treat borderline calls as flexible.
Tier by tier

- Twenty One: Full AoE hill unit that can solo carry
- Greybeard: Best non secret unit, full AoE plus stuns
- Solo Woo: Monarch form scales hard in long modes
A Tier, excellent
- Mercury: Ignores element debuffs, summons scale with damage
- Delta Brothers: Best shield breaker with hybrid line attack
- Sidea: Full AoE freeze and cooldown reduction support
- Light: Hybrid damage that also buffs Light allies
- Hawk Eyes: Best boss killer once evolved
- Time King: Global slow makes Infinite runs much easier

- Yano: Near permanent heavy slow on everything
B Tier, solid
- Itaha: Burn damage with respectable single target DPS
- Brolio: Damage keeps scaling during long fights
- Tashrio: Hits frozen enemies harder, pair with freezers
- Oda: Large AoE plus a crit buffing passive
- Osta: Makes full Dark unit teams work
- Gohun: Solid hybrid with AoE and crowd control
- Ruki: Best legendary support, freezes on placement
C Tier, situational
- Kuzar: Starter legendary with weak late scaling
- Zenit: Early epic, AoE burst on placement only
- Sijin: Best rare, burn carries early story
- Darkbeard: Full AoE slows but upgrades cost too much
- Nonomi: Damage amp niche, outclassed by meta supports
D Tier, skip
- Vegoto: Poor damage for the deployment cost
- Inoke: Outclassed within a few worlds
- Yumcho: Little reason to field it now
- Sukura: Early game filler, replace fast

Anime Reborn tier list FAQ
Who is the best unit in Anime Reborn right now?
Cod with the Atomic evolution is the safest answer. It combines the biggest full AoE range in the game with nuke level burst, so it carries Story, Infinite and boss content alike. Aizon and Dragon Emperor sit right behind it.
What is the best boss killer in Anime Reborn?
Hawk Eyes. Its passive grants a large damage bonus against bosses that grows even bigger when evolved, and its low attack cooldown keeps that damage flowing. Pair it with Aizon stuns for the fastest boss clears.
Which support units are worth leveling?
Time King and Yano are the two crowd control picks that never leave our teams, since global slows buy your damage dealers extra hits on every wave. Ruki is the best pure legendary support thanks to her freeze on placement.
How do evolutions affect these rankings?
A lot. Several units, like Cod, Hawk Eyes and Solo Woo, only reach their listed tier once evolved. Before that they play one tier lower, so plan your material farming around the units you actually want to keep.
