Betrayed codes are the passwords blitzwerk hands out around major updates, holidays, like milestones, and the occasional server outage apology, and they pay out in Cash for free Cash, the currency you spend on crates full of skins, emotes, and poses. everything cosmetic in Betrayed comes out of crates, and crates cost Cash. The free Cash from codes will not make you better at spotting the traitor, but it gets you into the crate loop rounds earlier than grinding alone, and the emotes and poses are half the fun of lobby time anyway. A fresh account can bank over a thousand Cash from the current list before playing a single round.
Quick tip. redeem everything in one sitting, then save your Cash for a single crate opening session instead of dribbling it out. Betrayed retires codes aggressively when updates land, I watched two disappear with the Homecoming patch, so a code you postpone today is a code you may not get tomorrow.
