How we rank

Rods are judged on luck, lure speed, passive abilities, weight capacity, and how reasonable they are to obtain in the current update. When recent community lists disagree, we side with the majority and the most recent view.

Fisch tier list FAQ

What is the best rod in Fisch right now?

The Masterline Rod leads the July 2026 meta with 1000 percent lure speed, 350 percent luck, and infinite weight. It requires completing both the Bestiary and the Rod Journal, so Castbound and the Ethereal Prism Rod are the strongest picks most players can realistically reach first.

What is the best rod for making money in Fisch?

The Ethereal Prism Rod is the top earner. Its roughly 50 percent chance to apply a mutation worth eight times base value means your average catch sells for far more than with any raw stat rod, which is why money grinders keep it equipped.

Which rod should beginners buy first?

Grab the Carbon Rod from Moosewood for 2,000 C$ as your first real upgrade, then save for a luck focused rod instead of buying every shop tier. Free milestone rods like the No-Life Rod at level 500 carry you a long way without spending anything.

Can I still get limited rods like Migu?

No. Migu was a limited drop from April 2026 and is no longer obtainable in game. If you missed a limited rod, your options are trading with other players or hoping for a rerun, and the craftable Tidefall rods like Requiem cover the same jobs almost as well.
