The compensation goes a bit further than a simple rerun:

• Free Raid Passes are increased from 9 to 12 for the event.
• Remote Raids are unlimited from Saturday, July 25 at 1:00 p.m. PDT to Sunday, July 26 at 11:59 p.m. PDT.
• The Link Charge cap is raised to 2,000.
• Premier Balls are more effective, and Pokemon caught from five-star and Mega Raids come with a special background.
• Deluxe GO Pass holders get extra XP and Candy on top.
