Roblox codes are down to a trickle, a few drops a year around sponsorships and Bloxy nights. I test the avatar ones at the portal myself and keep only what actually redeems.
Roblox codes are the short alphanumeric strings Roblox Corp ships through partner campaigns and award events, redeemable for free avatar gear: hats, hair, shirts, shoulder pets, and the odd full outfit bundle, all permanent once claimed. Cosmetics are the entire offer. Similar catalog pieces run 100 to 300 Robux each, so clearing the current list saves you something like 1,300 Robux of avatar shopping. What you'll never get from a code is Robux itself. Not once, not ever, and I repeat it further down because the scam sites are relentless.
Quick tip. before you call a code dead, check where it redeems. I once pasted an Island of Move code into the central portal, watched it come back 'invalid', and nearly scratched it off my list. Wrong door, not a dead code. Game specific codes only answer inside their own experience.
Fresh Roblox codes cluster around the Developer Conference, the Bloxy Awards, and brand tie-ins like the Wendy's and Walmart campaigns. A few only activate inside featured experiences such as Island of Move or Mansions of Wonder rather than on the main promo page. All you need is an account in good standing and the redemption portal. Items are global and permanent. The codes expire; the gear never does.

WALMARTMEXEARS2024 is the odd one out, claiming through the Walmart Mexico partner page instead of the usual portal. SPIDERCOLA and TWEETROBLOX are the two old reliables, they've outlived everything else on this page.

Gone for good. The two NGN bundles ran for ages before Roblox finally pulled them in April 2026.

How to redeem Roblox codes
There are two doors here, and picking the wrong one is the most common reason people think a working code is dead. Corp-issued avatar codes go through the central portal. Experience codes go through the game they belong to.
Avatar item codes (central portal)
- Open roblox.com/redeem in any browser you like.
- Sign in to your Roblox account.
- Paste the code into the field.
- Hit Redeem. The item lands in your inventory immediately.
- Equip it from the Avatar Editor whenever the mood strikes.
Game specific codes (in experience)
- Launch Roblox and join the experience the code belongs to (Island of Move, Mansions of Wonder, and so on).
- Hunt down the redemption NPC or kiosk. There's usually a sign.
- Open the prompt and choose Redeem Code.
- Paste the code exactly as written, then confirm.
- You get the avatar item plus whatever in-game bonus that experience attaches to it.
One more wrinkle: partner codes sometimes bounce you to a Wendy's or Walmart page first. Sign in over there, then come back and claim. Annoying, but that's the price of sponsorship drops.

Are there any real Robux promo codes?
No. There never have been, and Roblox has said plainly there never will be.
Why did Roblox codes become so rare?
The marketing money moved. Around 2023, Roblox Corp shifted its budget into in-experience events and brand partnerships, so most cosmetic drops now happen inside featured games instead of as global codes. What's left is maybe four to six proper drops a year, usually pinned to a conference or an award show.
What's the difference between avatar codes and game specific codes?
Avatar codes go through roblox.com/redeem and land in your account-wide inventory. Game specific codes only redeem inside one experience, and the reward usually only matters there. I've mixed the two up myself, which is exactly why this page keeps hammering the distinction.
Do items from old codes still work?
Forever. Redeem during the window and the item is yours for life, which is why SPIDERCOLA shoulder pets from years ago still wander around on avatars today.
Can I redeem the same code on multiple accounts?
Yes. The one-use rule applies per account, so each alt can claim its own copy.
