Slap Battles Glove Tier List (September 2026)
Last checked September 9, 2026
This Slap Battles glove tier list ranks the gloves that actually win Main Arena fights right now, from the gamepass monsters down to the starter picks we would leave in the lobby.
We compared the most recent community rankings from this summer with an older but very thorough breakdown, then settled the disagreements by how often each glove closes rounds in current public servers.
A glove sitting low is not useless; some of them are badge trophies or pure fun picks, and the tiers only measure how reliably they get kills against real players.

Spectator How we rank
We rank gloves on kill reliability in Main Arena against the current player base, then on mobility and escape options, then on how much practice a glove needs before it pays off. Cost matters too: a 30-slap glove that competes with 30,000-slap gloves gets credit for it. Where the sources disagreed, we sided with the two most recent lists, so a few placements will look different from the older rankings you may have seen.
Tier by tier
S Tier, the meta
- OVERKILL: Gamepass glove that kills anything it touches, no charge needed
- God's Hand: Freezes the whole server, then you slap freely
- Reaper: Kill timer plus a dash, ideal for aggressive play
- The Flex: Turns victims into gold statues, 100,000 slaps well spent
- G-X: Speed mode and a charged lunge in one kit
- Retro: Three swappable abilities, the most flexible badge glove
A Tier, excellent
- Custom: You pick the power and speed split yourself
- Killstreak: Snowballs harder with every kill you land
- Megarock: Unpushable rock form that crushes anyone nearby
- Reverse: Reflects knockback, punishes the heavy hitters
- Counter: Blocks a slap and sends it straight back
- Bob: Summons an entity that kills on contact
- Titan: Five times bigger with a stomp, subscription only
- Tableflip: Thrown table usually one-shots, slow to line up
- Walrus: Mastery glove that rewards practice with big knockback
B Tier, solid
- Golden: Cheap invincibility window with a long cooldown
- Ghost: Invisible sneak attacks for only 666 slaps
- Phase: Short phase-out that dodges one slap
- Error: Glitch teleport, great escape tool, low damage
- Jebaited: Decoy that punishes anyone who slaps it
- Ice: Freezes a slapped player for an easy follow-up
- Detonator: Blasts a marked player off the map
- Suction: Wall walking breaks the usual edge-guard angles
C Tier, situational
- Engineer: Stationary sentry that good players walk around
- Elude: Teleports you to safety, never gets kills itself
- Brick: Best value under 100 slaps, then outgrown
- Diamond: Invulnerable rock form, fine for beginners
D Tier, skip
- Default: The starter glove, replace it as soon as you can
- Extended: Longer reach, slower everything else
- Spring: Jump power only, no way to win a trade
- Spectator: Cannot slap or be slapped, a watching glove

Slap Battles tier list FAQ
What is the best glove in Slap Battles right now?
OVERKILL is the strongest pick because its passive kills on contact with no setup. Among slap-earned gloves, Reaper and God's Hand win the most fights, and G-X is the best pick if you want mobility and damage together.
What is the best free glove for beginners?
Brick and Diamond are the best value under 100 slaps. Once you pass 2,500 slaps, Golden gives you a safe invincibility window, and Ghost at 666 slaps is the cheapest glove that actually gets kills.
Why is Reverse only A tier if it counters OVERKILL?
Reverse is a strong counter-pick, but it depends on the opponent swinging first. Against patient players it does nothing on its own, so we rank it below gloves that create kills by themselves.
How often does this tier list change?
Slap Battles gets balance changes and new gloves every few weeks, and silent hotfixes happen. We re-check the rankings after each major update and move gloves when the community results shift.
