Wild Rift Champion Tier List (October 2026)
This Wild Rift champion tier list ranks the champions that win ranked games on patch 7.2e, across Baron lane, jungle, mid, Dragon lane and support, in one board instead of five separate role lists.
We compared three tier lists updated in September 2026 and kept the champions they agree on. A champion rated S plus on one site and A on another lands in the middle, with the disagreement spelled out in the note.
Role matters: Yone is S because he is elite in two lanes, while a champion who is only good in one niche role sits lower even if that niche is strong.

Twitch How we rank
We weigh solo queue win rate and pick priority on the current patch, how flexible the champion is across roles, and how hard they are to punish when the enemy team knows what they are doing. Because this list covers every role, a champion needs to be strong in a role that decides games to reach S. A is a first pick in its role, B is a reliable pick that loses to the meta counters, C is situational, and D is the champions every source we checked rates at the bottom of their role this patch. Rankings will move with the next balance patch.
Tier by tier
S Tier, the meta
- Malphite: Buffed armor and slow, best blind pick in Baron lane
- Yone: Top rated in both Baron lane and mid this patch
- Syndra: Highest impact mid, burst that ends fights
- Ahri: Safe, mobile mid with charm picks, top on every list
- Smolder: Late game scaling ADC, rated S plus everywhere
- Sona: Best support this patch, heals and poke that never stop
- Rammus: Fastest jungle tempo and best anti carry engage
- Thresh: Hooks and lantern saves, elite on every list
- Leona: Point and click engage, wins Dragon lane early
A Tier, excellent
- Vi: Jungle SS on one list, S on the others, great dive
- Jarvan IV: Flag and drag engage, S plus in two rankings
- Galio: Anti magic mid and support, huge teamfight taunts
- Twisted Fate: Global ultimate turns every side lane into a gank
- Ezreal: SS in one list, S in another, safe poke ADC
- Yunara: Newest ADC, attack speed scaling fits the patch
- Miss Fortune: Lane bully with a team fight ending ultimate
- Volibear: S plus Baron laner, strong jungler too
- Braum: Shield wall support, top pick for protecting carries
- Nidalee: SS jungle for Pocket Tactics, A on Wild Rift Core
B Tier, solid
- Darius: S in Baron and jungle on two lists, A on the third
- Garen: S plus for one site, A for another, simple and sturdy
- Jinx: Scales hard but needs peel, A to S range
- Kai'Sa: Strong late, weak early, sits in A on most lists
- Nami: S support on two lists, A on one, poke and heal
- Lee Sin: Early game jungler, rewards mechanics, S to A
- Kayle: A mid and Baron, scales into a late game monster
C Tier, situational
- Yasuo: C in Baron, A in mid, all in or nothing
- Master Yi: Wins low elo, B tier once teams buy control
- Caitlyn: Long range but B on two lists this patch
- Renekton: Early bully who falls off, B to C in Baron
- Dr. Mundo: Tanky but C in Baron lane on two rankings
D Tier, skip
- Katarina: Bottom of mid on every list we checked
- Yuumi: C tier support everywhere, too passive this meta
- Graves: C jungle across the board after the nerfs
- Twitch: B to C ADC, outscaled by the current carries

Wild Rift tier list FAQ
Who is the best champion in Wild Rift right now?
For patch 7.2e the strongest single picks are Malphite in Baron lane, Rammus in the jungle, Syndra in mid, Smolder in Dragon lane and Sona at support. Those five appear at the top of every list we checked, so they are the safest first picks in ranked.
How often does the Wild Rift tier list change?
Riot ships a balance patch roughly every two weeks and a larger patch every few months, so tiers move a little each time. The S tier here has been stable for most of patch 7.2. We re-check the list when a new patch lands and update champions whose buffs or nerfs actually changed their win rate.
Should I only play S tier champions to climb?
No. A champion you have hundreds of games on will win more than a meta pick you barely know. Use the S and A tiers to pick which champions to learn next, or to ban, and keep one comfort pick in every role you queue for.
Why is this list not split by role?
Most players want one answer to the question of which champions are strong right now, and a single board answers that faster. Every note says which role a champion earns their tier in, so you still get the role information without scrolling through five separate lists.
