A code bouncing back as invalid usually means you have not hit its level gate yet, so check that before assuming it died. Once you are past level 5 the whole list should clear in one sitting.

Why is my code invalid?
Level gates first: SUMMERPT2 and 2500LIKES want level 5, SUNSPIRESHORES wants level 3. After that, capitalization, since these are case sensitive and all caps. If both check out, the code retired and I will have it moved to expired on the next pass.
How often do new codes come out?
So far every update and every like milestone has shipped one. The game crossed 2,500 likes quickly and Genesis Games rewarded each step, so with Update 0.5 just out I would expect the next code at either 5,000 likes or the next patch.
Should I spend Trait Rerolls as soon as I redeem them?
No. Rerolls only pay off on characters you plan to keep long term, and your first pulls will not be those. Bank the rerolls from LUCKYPATCH and SUMMERPT2 until you land a genuinely strong character, then chase the traits that boost Fishing Power.
