Blue Lock Rivals Style Tier List (August 2026)

Last checked August 5, 2026

This Blue Lock Rivals style tier list ranks 25 styles in the current meta, and the short version is that the NEL variants plus Kaiser and Loki run ranked lobbies right now.

We compared three recent community rankings and kept only the placements they broadly agree on, so a style sitting in S here is not one site's hot take.

If you are saving spins, aim for any NEL style first. A base style with a good flow still works, but the ceiling difference is real.

How we rank

We rank styles by how much they win games in ranked play: goal threat, dribble pressure, and how hard they are to punish. Placements come from three recent community tier lists cross checked against the latest rework notes, and where sources disagreed we took the majority or the most recent view. NEL variants are listed separately from their base styles because they play like different kits.

Tier by tier

S Tier, the meta

  • Kaiser: Explosive shot range plus elite dribbling, best all round striker
  • NEL Bachira: Mythic dribbler, Freestyle Beeshot breaks packed defenses
  • NEL Rin: Destroyer Domain and Annihilate overwhelm keepers
  • NEL Nagi: Traps, feints and versatile shooting in one kit
  • NEL Isagi: Metavision field control with dash and shot combos
  • Loki: Godspeed pace and ball snatching, a terror on counters
  • Don Lorenzo: Three awakens and the best defensive toolkit around

A Tier, excellent

  • NEL Reo: Camouflage steals and flexible tactical play
  • Aiku: Top defender after his rework, Cobra steal shuts down dribblers
  • Kunigami: Power shot and body block cover both ends
  • Shidou: Dragon Drive pressure, scores from chaos in the box
  • Sae: World Class playmaker with long range precision
  • Yukimiya: Elite one on one dribbling and clean finishing
  • King: Ankle breaks plus Predator Shot on raw speed

B Tier, solid

  • Kurona: Reliable passing and stealing for team play
  • Bachira: Best pure dribbler among the base styles
  • Nagi: Slippery trap interceptions and a strong ultimate
  • Charles: Playmaking specialist, passing and dribbling mixups
  • Gagamaru: Underrated in goal, powerful headers and rainbow kicks

C Tier, situational

  • Hiori: Good passing but lacks finishing power
  • Otoya: Invisibility is fun, the goals are rare
  • Isagi: Fine starter pick, improves once U20 kick unlocks
  • Karasu: Decent defensively, weak in the final third

D Tier, skip

  • Igaguri: Basic tackles, outclassed at every job
  • Chigiri: Pace alone does not score goals

Blue Lock Rivals tier list FAQ

What is the best style in Blue Lock Rivals right now?

Kaiser is the safest answer for a single pick, with NEL Bachira, NEL Rin and NEL Nagi right beside him. All of them combine goal threat with dribbling that most defenders cannot answer.

Are NEL styles always better than the base versions?

In practice, yes. Every NEL variant we tracked sits at least a full tier above its base style, so if you own a NEL version, play it. Base Bachira is the closest exception because his rework made him genuinely strong.

Which style should a beginner use?

Isagi or Nagi. Both are forgiving, cheap to level, and teach you positioning without demanding tight combo timing. You can climb into mid ranked with either before you ever touch a Mythic.

How do you get new styles?

You spin for them with Lucky Spins earned from playing, quests and codes. Redeeming the latest codes is the fastest free way to stack spins toward a Legendary or Mythic style.
