Control codes are the short strings the Control Corporation group posts for milestones, holidays, and the occasional delayed-update apology, and they pay out the two currencies the facility runs on for free Money and Fragments, usually a few thousand of the first and a few dozen of the second per code. in Control you play a C.T.R.L. employee locked inside a facility where the anomalies have stopped behaving, and survival comes down to gear and class upgrades. Fresh Control codes track the group's own life: follower milestones like 3KFOLLOWERS, seasonal drops like CHRISTMAS and VALENTINE!, and apology strings like SORRY4DELAY2 whenever an update slips. If the developers go quiet, the codes do too, then a patch lands and three arrive at once. Redemption is in game through the Codes button, one use per account. Watch the punctuation: several codes end in an exclamation mark and the box wants it exactly as written.

What kind of game is Control?
