Nintendo's own billing keeps it simple: roughly 20 minutes of new information about the game, with fresh gameplay footage and story details, streaming on the official YouTube channel and the Nintendo Today app.

That is a meaningful chunk of airtime for a single game, and the timing tells you why. Fortune's Weave arrives on September 17, exclusively on Switch 2, so this is the last big marketing beat before launch. The game is set in Dagsion, capital of the Dagdan Empire, where fighters from across the land compete in a tournament called the Heroic Games for the chance to win a single wish. You follow four heroes tied to the fate of the world, each chasing victory through their own storyline, which is a notable break from the single protagonist structure of recent entries.

The combat is still the strategic, turn-based Fire Emblem that Intelligent Systems has been refining for over three decades, but the tournament framing changes the rhythm around it. Between matches you explore the city, train recruits and gather resources under a time limit, so preparation looks to matter as much as the fights themselves. Each hero also brings unique special abilities into battle. The digital edition runs $69.99, while the physical Dagdan Collection bundles a steel case, an artbook, character art cards and a map of Dagda.

Nintendo has been feeding Switch 2 owners a steady diet of catalog reissues lately, from Super Mario Sunshine joining Nintendo Classics to lost Virtual Boy games, so a proper look at a brand new first party exclusive is welcome.
