Nikke Character Tier List (September 2026)

This Nikke character tier list ranks the 31 Nikkes that actually decide how far you push in Campaign, Interception and Solo Raid as of September 2026. Crown, Anis: Star and Rapi: Red Hood are still the three you build a whole account around.

We merged the Story and Bossing rankings from the most recent major source, updated August 28, with two other current lists, and gave the bossing side a little more weight because that is where the real walls are.

Treasure variants are ranked as their upgraded form. If you have not finished a character's Favorite Item, treat them as one tier lower until you do.

How we rank

A Nikke ranks by how much damage or team support she adds at a 25 percent or worse CP deficit in Campaign, and by her clear times against the current Interception and Solo Raid bosses. Ease of use counts: a Nikke that needs three specific partners to work sits lower than one that slots into any team. PvP is a different game and is ignored here. We only include Nikkes you can still pull or unlock today, so retired collab units are left out.

Tier by tier

S Tier, the meta

  • Crown: Best Burst II in the game, buffs and taunts everything
  • Anis: Star: Burst I with shields and damage, no downside
  • Rapi: Red Hood: Flexible burst that carries Story and bosses alike
  • Snow White: Heavy Arms: Top single target nuke for every boss wall
  • Cinderella: Crystal Wave: Newest limited DPS, tops both Story and Bossing
  • Moran (Treasure): Treasure turns her into the best defensive Burst I
  • Flora (Treasure): Treasure makes her a premium Burst II buffer

A Tier, excellent

  • Little Mermaid: Siren form, strong Burst I with cooldown reduction
  • Nayuta: Burst II damage buffer for the current top teams
  • Mast: Romantic Maid: Burst II healer and buffer, rarely benched
  • Privaty (Treasure): Treasure version is a real Burst III carry
  • Scarlet: Black Shadow: Wind DPS with huge burst against grouped mobs
  • Laplace: Ultimate Hero: Recent Burst III, strong in both modes
  • Alice: Still elite boss damage, needs manual play
  • Mint: New Burst II support, fits most damage teams
  • Prika: New Burst II buffer, already a bossing staple

B Tier, solid

  • Vesti: Tactical Upgrade: Top Story pusher, much weaker against bosses
  • Takina Inoue: Collab Burst II, great in Story, fine on bosses
  • Liberalio: Reliable Burst III DPS without a hard partner need
  • Liter: Veteran Burst I, still the free to play backbone
  • Ada Wong: Collab DPS, excellent in Story, average on bosses
  • Milk: Blooming Bunny: Solid Burst III, shines with the right team core

C Tier, situational

  • Red Hood: Former queen, now a Burst I filler at best
  • Naga: Only worth it in core hit teams
  • Blanc: Good taunt healer, outclassed by Crown
  • Modernia: Mobbing legend that fell behind the new DPS
  • Scarlet: Still fun, no longer a meta pick anywhere

D Tier, skip

  • Privaty: Base form is a Treasure project, not a unit
  • Snow White: One niche boss nuke, useless elsewhere
  • 2B: Collab unit that never scaled with the meta
  • Rapunzel: Revive is cute, damage teams do not need it

Who is the best character in Nikke right now?

Crown. She is the one Nikke every top team wants in the Burst II slot, and she buffs, taunts and heals at the same time. Anis: Star and Rapi: Red Hood are the next two to raise.

Which Nikke should I reroll for?

Crown or Rapi: Red Hood if either is on a banner, otherwise Anis: Star. All three fit any account and stay relevant for a year or more. Limited units like Cinderella: Crystal Wave are stronger but you cannot plan around them.

What are Treasure Nikkes in this tier list?

Favorite Item upgrades. Moran, Flora and Privaty change tier completely once their Treasure is done, so we rank the upgraded form and note it in the name. Without the item, treat them as their base rank.

Why is Vesti: Tactical Upgrade only B tier?

She is one of the best Story pushers in the game, but she does very little against Interception and Solo Raid bosses. Since bossing carries more weight in our criteria, she lands in B. Rank her S if you only care about Campaign.
