IGG keeps dropping Viking Rise codes around events and updates in this Norse 4X strategy game, and I track the ones that actually still work right here.
Viking Rise codes are case sensitive strings IGG hands out on the official Viking Rise Facebook, Discord, and during in game events for free Gems, Speedups, Resources, Hero EXP, and the Jarl or commander upgrade materials you'll want. Gems are your premium currency for the shop, VIP, and hero summons. Speedups shave time off building and research. Hero EXP and commander materials level up your Jarls, and your Jarls are what decide your march strength in the Norse battles and alliance wars.
Quick tip. My tip: spend your code Gems on hero summons and commander gear instead of instant resource packs. A strong, well geared Jarl roster multiplies your army's punch in PvP, and resources you can just gather from your settlement anyway.
Viking Rise codes show up during anniversary events, Kingdom war seasons, partner crossovers, and IGG milestone celebrations. Most of them stick around for only a short window. You redeem them in game through the Settings gift code option or over on the IGG gift page. And yes, they're case sensitive.

How to redeem Viking Rise codes
Viking Rise lets you redeem right in the client through the settings menu, and the IGG gift page works as a backup. Either way, your rewards show up in the in game mailbox.
In game (Settings > gift code)
- Fire up Viking Rise and open the Settings menu.
- Look for the gift code entry option.
- Type the code in exactly as shown, since it's case sensitive.
- Confirm to redeem, and your rewards land in the in game mailbox.
On the IGG gift page
- Pull up the official IGG gift page for Viking Rise in any browser.
- Drop in your IGG ID or Player Name.
- Paste the code and hit Claim.
- Your rewards arrive in the in game mailbox within a few minutes.
If the IGG gift page throws an 'ID not found' error, double check you grabbed the full IGG ID from your in game profile. Either the IGG ID or your Player Name works on the gift page.

What are Jarls in Viking Rise?
Jarls are the commanders that lead your armies. Their gear and skill upgrades decide your march strength in both PvE and the Kingdom wars. So when a code drops Hero EXP and commander materials, you're advancing your Jarls, which is honestly the main power lever in the game.
Why spend Gems on heroes over resources?
Because a strong, well geared Jarl roster multiplies how effective your army is in PvP, and resources you can easily gather from your settlement. I'd funnel code Gems straight into hero summons and commander gear for the best long term combat return.
When should I spend Speedups from codes?
Save them for Kingdom war seasons and competitive events. Pushing your power in a single burst during an event scores you way more ranking points and rewards than dribbling Speedups out across quiet days. Hoard them for those event windows.
Why does my code keep failing?
Usually one of three things. The code expired, you mistyped it (they're case sensitive), or you already redeemed it on this account. Paste it from the Copy button to rule out the typo straight away.
Do codes work on the IGG gift page and in game?
Most of them work through both paths on the same account. The IGG gift page needs your IGG ID or Player Name, while the in game option redeems directly. Both drop the goods into the same in game mailbox.
How long do mailbox rewards stay claimable?
Seven days. Pop open your in game mailbox next time you log in and claim everything before the timer runs out.
