Jurassic World Event Is Live in Brookhaven on Roblox

Brookhaven is the game most Roblox players have loaded at least once, the quiet roleplay town where you pick a house, pick a car and make up your own stories. As of Friday it has a dinosaur park on its doorstep. Voldex, the studio that owns Brookhaven, opened a Jurassic World event on September 18, and the official Roblox listing now leads with the update notes. This is a proper licensed crossover with the Universal film brand, not a themed prop pack, and it follows the studio's earlier Minions and Monsters takeover of the same town.

We spent a little time reading through what Voldex actually shipped, because the event page on Roblox says only that "the park gates are OPEN" and lets the trailer art do the rest. The developer's own post is more useful, and the details below all come from it and from the game's listing.

What is in the park right now

The event adds a large new area rather than sprinkling dinosaurs around the existing town. Inside the gates you get the Jurassic World Innovation Center and a Research Lab to walk through, a fossil digging spot, and a zipline that carries you over the park. The two herbivores you can get close to are a Brachiosaurus and a Triceratops, and the listing spells out that you feed them leaves, which is a very Brookhaven way to handle a dinosaur. The Raptor Encounter is the headline attraction: Blue, the velociraptor from the films, is there with the rest of her pack.

For the roleplay side, which is what Brookhaven is really about, there is a new Gyrosphere vehicle, the see through ball from the films, so you can roll around the park or, knowing this community, down the middle of Main Street. Voldex also added a Jurassic World Gates prop you can place yourself, new tools, dinosaur themed items, clothes, and a batch of new emotes. That prop is the piece we expect to see everywhere, since Brookhaven players build their own scenes and an official set of park gates is exactly the kind of thing that ends up in front of every house on the block.

What comes next week, and what we do not know

Voldex is running this as a two week story. Its post ends with a warning about something growling inside the park and promises that "something BIG arrives in Week 2", and the Roblox listing is less coy: next week the T. rex arrives, alongside a new Jurassic World house, an InGen truck and more. So if you only care about the big one, you can wait a few days, but the herbivores and the raptors are already there and the fossil dig and zipline are live now.

What is missing is any end date. The studio describes the event as limited time and nothing more, so we would treat the second week as the moment to grab whatever you want rather than assume it stays through October. We also cannot tell you which of the new items are free and which cost Robux, because Voldex has not published pricing. Given Roblox's own push to make the platform easier to reach, including the browser version we covered from the Roblox Developers Conference, a crossover of this size landing in the most visited game on the platform is the sort of thing that pulls lapsed players back for a weekend. Brookhaven has no active promo codes at the moment, so there is nothing to redeem before you go in. Just load up, head for the gates, and do not stand too close to the paddock next week.

FAQ

When did the Jurassic World event start in Brookhaven?

The park opened on Friday, September 18, 2026. Voldex calls it a limited time event but has not published an end date, and the official Roblox listing already carries the Jurassic World update notes.

What can you do in the Brookhaven Jurassic World event?

Feed leaves to the Brachiosaurus and Triceratops, visit Blue and the other raptors at the Raptor Encounter, explore the Innovation Center and Research Lab, dig for fossils, ride a zipline across the park, and drive the new Gyrosphere vehicle.

Is the T. rex in Brookhaven yet?

Not at launch. The official Roblox listing says the T. rex arrives next week, in the second week of the event, along with a new Jurassic World house, an InGen truck and more.

Do you need to pay for the Jurassic World content in Brookhaven?

The event area itself is open to everyone who loads into Brookhaven. Voldex has not published pricing for individual items, so we cannot say which of the new props, clothes or emotes are free and which cost Robux.
