Marvel Snap codes come out through partnered webshop drops rather than the usual in-game prompt, so I track the active ones and keep them listed here.
Marvel Snap codes are alphanumeric strings Second Dinner ships through the Marvel Snap webshop, usually tied to seasonal events or AAPI heritage campaigns for free Credits, Gold, card Variants (alternate art), avatars, and the occasional Boosters. Credits are the resource that gates upgrading cards past Collection Level 1000, which is where Pool 3 unlocks and where the competitive decks really come from. Gold buys Season Passes and Variant bundles. Variants change a card's art but not its effect, so they're purely cosmetic, nice to have, but they won't win you games.
Quick tip. Honestly, the best move is to spend code Credits upgrading cards in the Variant slot of decks you actually play. Snap's Collection Level tracker compounds the Credit value when you upgrade Variants you already own, so a single 1,000-Credit code can push you past two Collection Level milestones if you target the right Variant.
New codes appear during AAPI Heritage Month (May), Halloween, holiday campaigns, partnered Marvel movie tie-ins, and major patch releases. You'll need a Snap ID and an account in good standing. The webshop runs an email check on every redemption.
- You redeem Marvel Snap codes on the webshop only. The in-game shop has no redeem field.
- They're case sensitive, so use the Copy button to dodge hidden-character errors.
- Each code works once per Snap ID.
- Most expire within 14 days, longer than other mobile games, but still capped.
- Rewards arrive in your in-game inbox within a few minutes of a successful redemption.

Codes that promise free Pool 5 cards (Series 5) almost never exist. Second Dinner gates those behind in-app purchase or Spotlight Caches, so don't fall for that one.

How to redeem Marvel Snap codes
Redemption all happens on the official webshop. There's no in-game code field, which trips up new players constantly. You'll need your Snap ID (it's in your in-game profile) and the EA Marvel Snap webshop login, which can use email, Apple ID, or Google.
- Open Marvel Snap and tap your avatar to copy your Snap ID from the profile screen.
- Open snap.fan/store or the official Marvel Snap webshop in any browser.
- Sign in with the account linked to your Snap ID.
- Find the Redeem a Code section in your profile or the webshop menu.
- Paste the code and click Redeem.
- Open Marvel Snap, and the rewards show up in your inbox within a few minutes.
If the webshop says 'code not recognized', it might not be a webshop code at all. Some Snap codes are tied to specific partner promos (Walmart, Best Buy bundles) and only redeem on those partner pages, not the Snap webshop.

Why can't I redeem codes in the game?
Second Dinner deliberately routes all redemption through the webshop so they can verify purchases and shut down code-resale loops. The in-game client never had a redemption field, every code goes through the web portal.
Where do I find my Snap ID?
Open Marvel Snap, tap your avatar in the top-left of the home screen, then look at the Snap ID line at the bottom of your profile card. Tap it to copy. The webshop needs this ID, not your in-game display name.
Are Variants from codes the same as Rare or Ultimate Variants?
Yep, code Variants are functionally identical to the ones you buy in the shop. They sit in your collection, work in any deck, and contribute Collection Level when you upgrade them. The art rarity tier (Common, Rare, Super Rare, Ultimate) depends on the specific Variant, not on whether it came from a code.
Do codes give Series 4 or Series 5 cards?
Almost never. Series 4 and 5 cards are gated behind Spotlight Caches, Token grinding, or direct purchase. Marvel Snap codes pay in Credits, Gold, Variants, and avatars, all of which help long-term but won't skip the card-series gate.
How long do rewards stay in the inbox?
Seven days from redemption. Open the inbox during your next session and claim everything before the timer expires.
Why are code drops so rare in Marvel Snap?
Second Dinner runs Marvel Snap as a premium hybrid, where most of your progression comes from the Season Pass and Spotlight Caches. They mainly release codes during cultural campaigns (AAPI, Pride, Halloween) or movie tie-ins, so the cadence is much slower than, say, a HoYoverse game.
